Within this project I took part in a 1st year show based on the DADA art movement. At first I wasn't going to get involved because I didn't think my work fell into the theme of DADA, but after discussing my work with others, discovered that it would work with the theme so decided to take part. The work I chose to exhibit was my Hear/See/Speak No Evil wood prints on text, I put up a series of them, a total of 5 works and laid them across the wall with Blu tack. I chose these from the discussions with other students as we felt they were the most interesting to exhibit with the contrast of the statement printed over text from mainstream media such as magazines and newspapers. In the end I was happy to exhibit as I felt that I needed to start to get involved with things like this and hope to exhibit more in the future.
